Ecto began with a missed ride outside a dhaba.

Frustrated by unreliable auto bookings in a small North Indian town, two college friends, Manan and Vansh, realized something: ride-hailing apps weren’t built for tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

So, they created Ecto - a platform designed for local realities. No more phone calls, no more haggling. Just reliable autos, simplified tech for drivers, and peace of mind for students, families, and everyday commuters.

From Patiala to places often overlooked, Ecto is bringing clean, local-first mobility where it's needed most — one ride at a time.
